As long as the wiring is still in place, improving fitness will happen a lot faster than previous technique and fitness improvements combined, so you are in for a steep improvement curve probably.

Thank you muchly! I'm impressed with how well the first assessment went, and not surprised today was stressful since i took a guess at my tempos. I think less strength leads to higher tempos (for me), and I'm fine with that. As you say, fitness will return quickly. I'm excited.
