I find it easiest to set off holding my feet together and still. I initiate rotation from my hips. As Terry has said, it is almost impossible to resist a diagonal toe flick. Within a short distance you will find yourself doing it. In my case if I think about it too hard I may lose it. In which case I start the process again.
