Oh yes, how about MET? It stands for Metabolic Equivalent of Task and is the basis on which exercise monitors (in sports watches, fitness equipment etc) assess how many calories have been burned in a task. As far as I can tell it's a pretty unsubstantiated form of measurement, but that's what's being fed back to folk as fact.
