I think yes!An alcoholic person may suffer from many health problems like high blood pressure, heart problems and anxiety. Exercise can help them regain their strength and energy.I have read about some former alcoholic who successfully overcame alcoholism with the help of swimming/running.They were hopeless and they took this decision to improve their health and life.So their life changed.Exercise clears your mind.You will become positive. You can rarely think about anything negative.Your body is on the move and you’re aiming for a distance.
