Do we require more force to exhale in deep water, compare to shallow water?

This question arised because almost all my kicks...

This question arised because almost all my kicks are not perpedicular to water. As we learned to swim on our sides than on stomach. I observed the same fact with Terry's swim videos.

Is it necessary to create a splash of water by legs?

I was trying to find answer to this question of many days.

Does the splash created by flipping legs during free style, means faster propulsion?

What if legs are just 1 cm below suface and flipping...
